China to investigate U.S. polysilicon imports

ClimateWire: China on Friday opened anti-dumping investigations into imported polysilicon from the United States and South Korea, the latest signal of a growing tension in the global clean-tech trade. Polysilicon is a key material used in solar panel production. China's import of such goods rose by 27 percent in the first quarter of this year compared with a year ago, and more than two-thirds of that came from U.S. and Korean producers.
