Afghanistan to Strengthen Climate Change Defenses

Environment News Service: To strengthen Afghanistan's ability to withstand climate change, the government and United Nations partners today announced a US$6 million initiative, the first of its kind in the country's history. The program will be run by Afghanistan's National Environmental Protection Agency, NEPA.
