Australia: Govt's climate change action 'inadequate'
Australian Broadcasting Corporation: The ACT Greens have criticised the Government for its poor performance in implementing its first climate change action plan. The Government released the Weathering the Change Action Plan 1 in 2007, outlining 43 initiatives to tackle climate change. The ACT sustainability and environment commissioner recommended the Government conduct annual reviews of how it is rolling out the plan, but that has not happened.
