Perry: Warm winters caused by ignoring clean energy, climate change
Go Erie: In my 67 years, I've never seen a winter like this last one. And you didn't have to go to the Arctic to see the impact of warming temperatures on polar bears -- you saw it right here in Erie, where Presque Isle Bay didn't have an ice fishing season. According to local bait shop owners, it wouldn't be uncommon to see nearly 500 people fishing on the weekend, with about half that number during the week.
