Group Calls for Swift Growth Of Carbon Capture-and-Storage Facilities

Yale Environment 360: An industrial group says that to avoid "dangerous climate change" an additional 55 facilities that capture carbon from power plants and store it underground must be built by 2020. The group, the Global CCS Institute, said that only one new carbon-capture-and-storage (CCS) plant was built in the past year, bringing the current number to 75.
