Green Desert: Climate goals long behind schedule

Desert Sun: In the aftermath of President Barack Obama's re-election victory Tuesday, environmental groups and clean-tech pundits were quick to provide to-do lists and recommendations for a second-term agenda on climate change and energy. I'm still wading through the online onslaught of calls for national renewable portfolio standards, better enforcement of clean air and water laws and the immediate end of federal subsidies for fossil fuels. All good and worthy efforts, but what's missing in many of the lists...
