N.Y. boardwalk wrecked by Sandy to be razed

MSNBC: Workers will begin to demolish a famed boardwalk in Long Beach, New York on Saturday, city officials announced Wednesday. The more than two-mile stretch of wood and concrete along the beachfront was badly damaged by Superstorm Sandy, and Long Beach's city council decided to tear down the entire structure last month.
