United Kingdom: Breaking: EDF drops £5m lawsuit against No Dash for Gas protestors

BusinessGreen: EDF has today confirmed that it has reached a settlement with the group of protesters that it had been suing for £5m following their occupation last year of the West Burton gas power station. In a statement the energy company said it had been working to agree a "compromise agreement acceptable to both parties" that would see the protesters accept a permanent injunction preventing them from entering multiple sites operated by EDF Energy in return for the company dropping its civil damages claim...
