United Kingdom: Development of countryside will lead to 'bitter land disputes' - CLA

Telegraph: The Country Land and Business Association (CLA) claims it is unfair that the current law allows companies to buy land for major infrastructure projects at the lowest price possible. The group, that represents major landowners as well as small businesses and farmers, pointed out that the law was drawn up in the 1960s to keep costs low for Government projects.
